As part of an exciting new support initiative from central Information Technology Services (ITS), WSU departments now have the opportunity to submit a project proposal for consideration of matching funding by ITS.

In January 2020, ITS-with agreement from Information Technology Services Advisory Council (ITSAC), approved usage of up to $100,000 in ITS’ minor capital budget to support grassroots efforts by individual departments across the university.  Each capital matching awarding cycle will follow a specific technology theme.  This biennial’s theme targets enhancements to WSU Wireless technologies and associated infrastructure.

The deadline for submissions is March 20.  All interested departments are encouraged to visit https://hub.wsu.edu/mctm/ for further program information, eligibility criteria, and the project submission form.

This is the first awarding period, however the hope is that this program can be offered in the years to come, and will continue to allow ITS to partner with smaller units to meet their specific needs.
